So, we have a blog now. This means that now we can post just about anything we want, with nary a thought as to whether or not it has anything at all to do with our band. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

We just got home from the UK and Europe, as you may know. We got to ride on a bus while we were over there, which was a luxury that we’d never experienced before. I want to set the record straight about one thing: tour buses don’t have showers. I thought it was pretty much a given that a moving vehicle wouldn’t contain such amenities, but several people have expressed surprise and disgust at the fact that we wouldn’t shower for days on end. Lesson: being in a band is gross.

We’re all set to head out on our big American adventure tomorrow. We’ve got a new trailer hitched up to our old van, and I’m bringing a really big suitcase, which is sure to annoy everyone else in the band. Oh, to all the hockey fans out there: we’ll be bringing sticks on this tour, and it won’t be unusual for us to start up a game in the parking lot before the show, so feel free to bring your stick and join in. If we’re not there, it means we’re too out of shape to play sports that day.

Are you excited for the new Harry Potter book? I worked at a bookstore when the last one came out, and I set a goal that by the time the last book was released, I’d be buying it as a fan and not an employee. So apparently school was right, and goal setting is a good thing. See you in Omaha, Harry!

You can never have enough clean socks on tour. Seriously, its impossible.

    by the way, i’d love to play hockey with you guys. two problems though: i don’t have a stick, and i actually have no interest in the game…

    and are you kidding me? i’m super excited for Harry Potter. The movie surprised me and instead of disappointing me it made me even more excited. i’m going to the chapters party on the 20th dressed up as Cedric Diggory… meaning i’ll be dead. shame.

    Sweet blog buddy! I wanted to wish luck before you left for Europe, but I missed the boat…so now I’m wishing you luck on your US of Adventure tour!

  4. Yes, a Newmarket show would be very good, and much more convienent than toronto! All ages though – don’t forget about your underage fans :P !
