We’re getting so stoked, for tomorrow is the first show in a three-day run of Christmas shows. We’re playing at the Phoenix alongside our buddies Said the Whale and Born Ruffians. The first two are SOLD OUT (can ya believe it?) and the Saturday show is looking pretty packed, too. We’re going to be playing a different set each night for anyone who decided to come more than once. On-top of that, we’re playing some covers from our 10x10x10 project, and some NEW SONGS TOOOOOO!!! That’s a pretty sweet Christmas present, right? There will also be some other treats, but I want to leave some things to your imagination. Maybe in the comments section you can guess what we have up our sleeve, yeah yeah? After the Friday show, DJ Bad Biz (ft. our lovely Greg Alsop) will be hosting an after-party of sorts at the Ossington. Details can be found here.

Also, thanks to everyone who contributed to the Cover Swap Project. We had many a sweet laughs and smiles on our faces as we raked through your submissions. They were all quality, but we could only choose a few. The winners were announced in a video we posted a few days ago, right here. Thanks again for taking the time out to record these.

As a side-note, Greg has been tweeting and posting as The Cheat Sheets with his buddy Kevin. They’ve uploaded some videos too. It’s pretty hilarious. If you’re ever wondering about fidelity, check them out.

2010 was a wicked year for all of us, and we wanna thank you for all your support: coming out to shows, buying t-shirts, designing t-shirts, legally buying our record (hint, hint). It was a superb time. We’re gonna be back with a whack next year, so you can expect new vlogs, new videos, new stuff… and maybe new songs!

If you are unaware, Greg has a new advice column. He wants to help you! Send out any real-life concerns and dilemmas to askgregtpc@gmail.com! He reads all of them!

We’re leaving Portland, on our way to Santa Barbara. It’s rainy and all, the way Oregon usually is. Balanced out by a few maple bacon doughnuts (thankyoo Voodoo) and we’re feeling pretty good.

Last night we checked out all the T-shirt designs that you sent in. We were blown away! So rad. We’re always trying to make sure that we have cool t’s that people actually want (no one likes a lame/generic concert shirt), and I can’t think if a better way to do that then having you all design them. The Bambi ones, some with our faces, the Tokyo “Ghoul” Club one, the choice was hard!

Thanks to everyone who sent in, we can’t wait to get some of these printed up.

This is another video-blog, this one centered around our recent shows with popular, hit-making francophones PHOENIX.  There’s some footage in the van, too… and portions of our shows in Chicago, Baltimore and Richmond.  Teresa (our front-of-house sound-tech!) blasts John Mayer to test the sound levels of any room we play, in-case you were wondering.  As far as the Third Eye Blind singalong, all I can say is that a certain member of the crew (not me) calls them his favourite band.  So that’s rubbed off on us, I suppose…

The band will be off to Europe, next week.  There will be more vlogs posted while they’re gone though… there is tons of footage to go around.  So keep your eyes peeled!
